Mövenpick Hotel Auckland is seeking a passionate Bartender to join the BODA bar team. You will create cocktails, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and help maintain a vibrant bar atmosphere in a MICHELIN Guide-recognised dining destination.

Qualifications

• Articulate verbal communication and passion for building a rapport with our guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet and ability to make quick decisions.
• Clear and efficient communication with the kitchen team.
• The right to work in New Zealand

Responsibilities

• Create an attractive atmosphere in BODA bar through service and ambiance.
• Create cocktails and delivering a unique experience for our guests
• Daily preparation and closing of bar area
• Deliver high‑quality guest service by providing efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service that meets standards, including VIP/regular guest needs and room service.
• Maintain operational excellence through proper hygiene, mise-en-place, equipment control, stock takes, and accurate communication with kitchen and guests.
• Ensure accurate financial processes including guest billing, shift revenue reconciliation, and correct posting of charges.
• Support smooth daily operations by adhering to service times, ensuring staff competence and sales maximisation, and working flexibly across a 7‑day rotating roster with early and late shifts.
