Job summary

Star Group is seeking a bar manager to lead the team at Moretons in St Heliers, Auckland. You will train staff, manage stock and wage costs, and contribute to budgeting while developing the beverage menu and ensuring outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate holds a current Manager's License with 1+ years in hospitality management, especially bar experience, and a natural leader who puts customers and people first.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Manager's License and have 1+ years in hospitality management, bar preferred.
• Experience in staff training, cost controls, and budgeting for a bar operation.
• Knowledge of beverage menus and supplier management is a plus.

Moretons is looking for our next superstar to manage the Bar; a natural born leader who has a knowledge of all things beverage and passion for driving the people around you. You will ideally have a current Manager's License and at least 1+ years' experience in a management position within the hospitality industry, in particular experience on the bar. You can look after a range of key business functions such as training of other team members, stock and wage cost management, budgeting and assisting with beverage menu development (among other tasks). You fit into the team like a glove and are a key leader of the team, knowing how to go above and beyond for our customers as well as our people.
