Job summary

The Right Track Sports Cafe, operated by RIGHT TRACK SPORTS & HOSPITALITY LIMITED, seeks an experienced Bar Manager in Auckland. Lead the bar team, oversee daily operations, staff management, inventory, and compliance to uphold service standards. A minimum of three years’ experience or a Level 5 qualification is required.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff rosters, recruitment, and ensuring health and safety across bar and service areas, in collaboration with the Operational Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience or
• Level 5 qualification may substitute the above requirement.
• Budgeting and menu costing skills.
• Organisational and time management skills.
• Wine and food matching skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the operation and profitability of the bar.
• Set and manage budgets for the bar.
• Organise and supervise marketing and promotional activities.
• Manage front of house staff and train bar staff to high standards.
• Interview and recruit staff; conduct appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and liquor regulations.
