Job summary

Foodstuffs NZ in Christchurch seeks a friendly Bakery Department team member to help with packaging, pricing and presentation while keeping the area clean and compliant with Food and Health and Safety rules.

No experience is required as full training will be provided; shifts include Monday 12.00pm-4.00pm, Tuesday 12.00pm-4.00pm and Sunday 7.00am-3.30pm.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and positive attitude under pressure.
• Physically capable to perform bakery tasks and stand for shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery team with afternoon packaging, pricing and presentation of products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the Bakery department.
• Ensure compliance with Food and Health and Safety requirements.

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area and we need innovative and customer-focused team member to join our Bakery Department. As a member of our team, your primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers playing a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have access to a wide variety of quality bakery products, whilst maintaining the cleanliness of the department.

Successful candidates will be required to provide excellent customer service, maintain a positive attitude, thrive under pressure, and exhibit physical agility and positivity. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with regular customers, providing them with the exceptional experience they deserve. Day to day tasks

• - Assisting the Bakery team with afternoon packaging, pricing and presenting our Bakery products
• - Maintaining cleanliness of the Bakery department
• - Maintaining the implementation of our Food and Health and Safety requirements.

The hours for the role are

• Monday: 12.00pm-4.00pm
• Tuesday: 12.00pm-4.00pm
• Sunday: 7.00am-3.30pm

No experience needed, as full training will be provided.
