Job summary

New World Rangiora, part of Foodstuffs NZ, is seeking a passionate person to join our busy bakery team. You will produce and pack a full range of baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation for our customers. The role requires a positive attitude, good time management and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Producing and packing a full range of baked goods
• Finishing and Production of sweet goods
• Meeting store objectives in productivity, quality and presentation
• Presenting the department to a high standard, including cabinet merchandising
• Maintaining of our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards
• Traying and cleaning

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Passion for the industry
• Significant relevant experience is attractive but not required (ideally at least 1 year experience in a retail environment)
• Positive and personable attitude
• Great time management and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Hours of work:

Tuesday – Saturday 40-hour full-time role, the hours of this role will be 5am – 1:30pm.
