New World Mangawhai is seeking a Bakery Assistant to support the bakery team with packing, preparing, baking, and producing bakery offerings as needed, while upholding presentation and quality standards across the bakery department and store. No experience is necessary; we provide on‑the‑job training and Foodies learning.

Responsibilities

• Pack, prepare, bake and produce bakery offerings as needed.
• Ensure excellent presentation and quality standards for the bakery department and store.
• Maintain daily operation in collaboration with the Bakery Manager.
• Ensure H&S, Food Safety and store procedures are followed.

Our stunning store, in the heart of the magical Mangawhai community, has been operating since October 2022.

With grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, liquor, chilled and frozen, online and checkout departments in a beautiful new store, we are bringing a new era of shopping to our wonderful customers.

Bakery AssistantRole:

• Support the bakery team as needed - including packing, preparing, baking, and produce bakery offerings as needed
  
• Ensure excellent presentation and quality standards for the bakery department & store
• Maintain daily operation in collaboration with the Bakery Manager
  
• Ensure the H&S, Food Safety and store procedures are strictlyfollowed
