Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is hiring a part-time Bakery Assistant for our Bakery Department. The successful applicant will join a busy team, working across areas such as bread, cakes and muffins, packing, slicing and labeling.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn are required, with training provided to support growth in different bakery tasks. Hours include early morning starts and one weekend day, with on-the-job training and support.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a busy fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in different bakery areas including bread, cakes, muffins, packing, slicing and labeling.
• Be part of a small team and contribute to efficient bakery operations.
