Job summary

Foodstuffs NZ in Rotorua is seeking a skilled Baker to join our bakery team. You will be responsible for weighing, mixing, depositing, rolling, and laminating pastry doughs and cake batters, while maintaining high personal presentation standards and professional output.

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will help the department run smoothly, meet targets, and deliver appetising pastry goods and cakes to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.

• Have you always had a passion for baking?
• Do you have a good understanding of the technology behind baking and can efficiently weigh, mix, deposit, roll and laminate pastry doughs and cake batters?
• Do you have a flair for baking appetising pastry goods and cakes?
• We are looking for someone to fill the role of Baker who has high personal presentation standards, a high degree of self motivation and excellent numeracy and communication skills. The successful applicant will also need to have the desire to excel, the ability to use their initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position. Reporting to the Bakery Manager you will be responsible for helping to ensure the department runs smoothly and all appropriate targets are met or exceeded.
