The Role Fisher & Paykel is one of New Zealand's best-known brands, a global company with a strong heritage and ambitious plans. Our New Zealand origins, curious nature and passion to develop luxury products designed around people are core elements that make us unique. As a trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous and curious organisation, we are on a journey to become the world's most human-centred, #1 premium appliance brand.
The opportunity We’re looking for an organised, commercially minded and customer-focused Online Store Coordinator to manage the sale of our B&C Grade appliances through Trade Me and to staff, friends and family. Based in East Tāmaki, this role brings together online store management, freight coordination, customer service and financial administration. You’ll play an important part in making the buying experience seamless, ensuring products reach customers efficiently and helping maximise sales and profitability.
You’re a proactive, well-organised problem solver who enjoys balancing competing priorities and getting the details right. You understand the importance of excellent customer service and have the commercial awareness to identify opportunities, improve processes and deliver results. This is a hands-on role, so you’ll be comfortable working in a physically active environment, handling bulky and sometimes heavy appliances that may need to be moved several times throughout the process. A practical, can-do attitude, a strong focus on safe manual handling and a willingness to roll up your sleeves are essential. You’ll ideally bring experience in customer service and freight management, with online retail or marketplace experience an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication, sound organisational skills and confidence using Microsoft Office are essential. Experience with Salesforce or JD Edwards/Oracle ERP systems would be beneficial, but isn’t essential. Above all, you’ll take ownership, act decisively and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver a great end-to-end customer experience.
Alongside a competitive salary, we offer flexible working, development and career opportunities, product discounts, life and disability insurance, discounted medical cover, superannuation, Whānau/Family leave and free on-site parking.
