Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Appliances in New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Delivery & Install Assistant to help bring the premium brand experience into customers’ homes. You’ll support delivery, installation and safe connection of appliances, work with the Lead Driver and ensure high service standards.

The role requires a full driver licence, good literacy and numeracy, basic computer skills and a strong health and safety mindset. Occasional travel and overnight deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, physically capable and comfortable working in a hands-on team.

• Full driver licence, good literacy and numeracy, basic computer capability, strong health and safety commitment.
• Previous experience in a similar role and additional trade skills are advantageous.
• A relevant heavy vehicle licence would be beneficial.
• Occasional national travel and overnight deliveries may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily delivery schedules, including receiving, loading and unloading products.
• Delivering, installing and connecting appliances in customers’ homes, with care and professionalism.
• Removing customers’ old products where required.
• Completing vehicle safety checks, maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle, and ensuring delivery documentation is accurate.
• Supporting trade deliveries and warehouse operations when needed.
• Following health and safety procedures and representing Fisher & Paykel positively in every customer interaction.

Delivery & Installation Assistant

The opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Delivery & Install Assistant to help bring the F&P experience into our customers’ homes.

Working alongside our Lead Driver, you’ll help deliver, install and connect Fisher & Paykel products safely and efficiently, ensuring every customer receives the high standard of service expected from our premium brand.

This is an active, practical role where teamwork, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to customer service are essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
