Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Operations Coordinator to manage and maintain process flow for an assigned workstream, lead the swarm, and ensure safety and efficiency. You will collaborate with your Team Leader, train staff, and address issues promptly.

You may step in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and help foster cross-team collaboration. We value inclusion, care, and a pragmatic, proactive approach to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and training staff.
• Strong communication and compliance knowledge.
• Willingness to work four weekend shifts per month and one evening per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operational Routines: Follow set routines to complete processes accurately and on time.
• Lead Team & Training: Lead the swarm within your function and coach new and existing team members.
• Champion Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following protocols.
• Resolve Issues & Support Store: Elevate process issues for resolution and step in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts.
• Foster Collaboration: Engage in Better Together connections to strengthen collaboration.
