Job summary

Smith&Smith is seeking an IT/Automation focused professional to manage and improve our digital platforms in New Zealand. You will work with business and tech teams to identify improvements, automate where appropriate, and implement changes that deliver measurable value.

With 2–3 years in a technology role and a degree in IT or CS, you’ll translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes, collaborating with vendors and internal teams across Belron NZ.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a technology-focused role.
• Experience using AI and automation to cut manual work.
• Degree in IT or Computer Science.
• Experience with Microsoft stack preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver system improvements that enhance performance and value.
• Support, configure and optimise digital platforms for reliability and UX.
• Partner with stakeholders, IT and vendors on technology solutions.
• Map, analyse and improve end-to-end processes using AI/automation.
• Communicate system changes and provide user training.
• Balance BAU support with strategic projects delivering value.
