Job summary

Finex Chartered Certified Accountants in New Zealand is seeking a full-time IT & Business Systems Analyst to optimise business systems, automate processes, and support digital platforms.

Based in Auckland, you will manage Microsoft 365, Adobe, Xero among others, drive integrations, ensuring data privacy, and provide technical documentation. This hybrid role supports 30 hours/week and NZ regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise business software systems (Microsoft 365, Adobe, Xero) for day-to-day operations.
• Implement automation tools to improve visibility into client deliverables and workflows.
• Manage and support digital content platforms, including YouTube and social media tools.
• Create and edit multimedia content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Descript.
• Apply information systems, user interface design, analytics, and software development principles to digital solutions.
• Oversee data privacy, security audits, and NZ-compliant backup systems.
• Provide support and technical documentation for tools like Microsoft 365, Karbon, Ignition, VinylScribe, Kit, Calendly.
• Advise on software procurement, licensing, integration, and strategic implementation.

Job Title: IT & Business Systems Analyst

Employment Type: Full-Time – Hybrid

We're hiring a full-time IT & Business Systems Analyst based in New Zealand who is confident across business systems optimisation, automation, systems integration, digital platforms, technical support, and technology-driven process improvement.

You'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining and optimising business software systems (Microsoft 365, Adobe, Xero, and related tools), ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality across the firm
• Implementing automation tools to improve visibility into client deliverables, team workflows, and operational efficiency
• Managing and supporting digital content platforms, including YouTube and social media management tools
• Creating and editing multimedia content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Descript, and related software
• Applying information systems, user interface design, analytics, and software development principles to support the development and optimisation of digital business solutions
• Managing data privacy, security audits, and backup systems in compliance with NZ regulations
• Providing support and technical documentation for tools like Microsoft 365, Karbon, Ignition, VinylScribe, Kit, and Calendly
• Advising on software procurement, licensing, integration, and strategic implementation

This role is full-time (30 hours/week). Open to applicants currently residing in New Zealand only.
