Job summary

Powercom Electrical Limited is seeking a Project Coordinator in Auckland to support planning, administration and delivery of multiple projects. The role is permanent and full-time with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, at NZD 30–38 per hour depending on skills and experience.

The successful candidate will develop schedules, coordinate between management, clients and trades, arrange site visits, monitor progress and assist with handover documents and budgeting.

Qualifications

  • NZQF Level 4+ in project management or equivalent.
  • Two years of related work experience may substitute.
  • Punctual, reliable with can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work programmes and documentation.
  • Coordinate activities between management, clients, technicians, contractors and suppliers.
  • Arrange site visits, meetings, site access, equipment deliveries and installation schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, deadlines, resources, costs and outstanding actions.
  • Respond to project enquiries and help resolve scheduling, supply and coordination issues.
  • Prepare and maintain work orders, progress reports, meeting notes, correspondence and completion records.
  • Obtain supplier quotations and coordinate approved purchases and deliveries.
  • Record project costs, purchase orders, invoices and variations, and report budget issues to management.
  • Monitor contractor work and report delays or variations to approved work orders.
  • Assist with project handover, including test results, warranties, manuals and client documentation.
