Job summary

Mainstream in Auckland is looking for an experienced Class 5 driver to join our team. You’ll drive a modern fleet, ensure safe loading and deliveries, and work with dispatch and warehouse teams to keep operations smooth.

Eligibility includes a current Class 5 license with endorsements F and D, solid truck/trailer experience, and a safety-first attitude. This full-time role offers a supportive team, competitive pay, and opportunities to grow with a national leader.

Qualifications

• Current Class 5 driver license (endorsements F, D).
• Proven truck and trailer experience, including reversing and manoeuvring.
• Good communication skills and ability to relate well with others.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of NZ geography.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently drive class 4vehicles delivering and collecting freight throughout Auckland.
• Assist with loading, securing, and unloading freight, including gear swap operations
• Maintain trucks and trailers, including fuel, wash, RUCs, and general upkeep
• Use EROAD electronic logbooks to accurately record driving hours, rest breaks, and trip details in line with NZTA compliance requirements
• Work closely with dispatch, warehouse teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures at all times

We’re looking for a Class 5 Driver to join our Auckland based team. This is a full-time role reporting to the Metro Manager.
