Job summary

Starbucks Palmerston North at Tahua Capital Ltd is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help drive daily operations and develop partners into leaders. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager in guiding performance and delivering memorable customer moments in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail/food service with leadership experience, strong communication and coaching skills, and a proactive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail/food service experience, including 1 year in a leadership role
• Strong communication, coaching, and people skills
• Ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced environment

• Drive to support a team and create great customer experiences

Responsibilities

• Support all daily store operations alongside the Store Manager
• Coach and develop partners to deliver operational excellence
• Help manage labour, inventory, product quality, and store performance
• Lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence
