Job summary

Postie Plus in Hunua, Papakura is seeking an experienced operations leader to join as an Operations Manager 2IC, supporting the day-to-day running of our online fulfilment and distribution centre. Working with the Operations Manager, you will lead teams, drive performance and ensure excellent customer outcomes.

This role suits a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to step up and confidently run the operation when required.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within warehouse, logistics, fulfilment, retail operations or a similar environment.
• Strong people leadership and coaching capability.
• The ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A customer-first mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support operational team members and Team Leaders.
• Help drive a positive, productive and accountable team culture.
• Oversee daily warehouse and fulfilment operations to ensure productivity, accuracy and service standards are achieved.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement solutions when targets are at risk.
• Support inventory accuracy and help maintain key business targets, including Partial Cancellation performance.
• Partner with Customer Service to ensure customers receive a great experience.
• Promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Take ownership of the operation in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Minimum 40 hours per week

Availability to work at least one weekend day each week
