Job summary

Postie Plus is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead from the floor in Wellington/Upper Hutt, driving sales, KPIs and a memorable customer experience. You will own rostering, resourcing and day-to-day store performance while coaching a high-performing team, with availability Tuesday to Saturday and no late nights expected.

You should bring proven leadership, confident communication, ownership mindset and strong commercial awareness to deliver consistent results in a fast-paced retail

We’re looking for a confident and experienced leader who sets the pace on the shop floor, bringing energy, initiative, and a hands‑on approach to driving performance, developing people, and leading store success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead from the front on the shop floor to deliver a great customer experience and set the standard for the team.
• Own and drive store sales, targets, and KPIs by setting clear priorities, tracking performance, and keeping the team focused and accountable.
• Maintain a visible and active presence on the shop floor to manage coverage, support the team, and ensure consistently high service levels.
• Ensure the store is consistently well‑presented, customer‑ready, and aligned with Postie’s visual merchandising and company standards.
• Own the day‑to‑day running of the store, including rostering, resourcing, and overall store performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team by setting clear expectations, delegating effectively, and providing regular feedback, recognition, and follow‑up to build capability, confidence, accountability, and strong team engagement.
