Job summary

Fonterra Co-operative Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Leeston Farm Source store. You will work alongside the Store Manager to lead the team, deliver great customer service and drive store performance.

You will lead from the front, supporting day-to-day operations, sales and Health and Safety while helping create a positive, collaborative environment where the team can do their best work. Availability to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience required.
• Leadership or people management experience, formal or informal.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of dairy, farming or agriculture is helpful, but not essential.
• Ability to motivate and support others.
• Physical fitness and the ability to regularly lift product.
• Availability to work Saturday mornings (9am–12pm) on a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

We're looking for someone with a strong customer focus, a positive can-do attitude and the confidence to step up and lead. You'll enjoy working in a busy, hands-on environment and be comfortable juggling priorities and pitching in where needed.
