Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Lorna Jane is seeking an Area Manager to lead 8 stores across Auckland and the wider North Island. You’ll own results, targets and KPIs, and back Store Leaders to deliver exceptional customer experiences and standout visual merchandising.
Your weeks balance admin planning with four days on the road in stores, working with your team to drive revenue and develop high-performing staff, while ensuring shrink and wage controls.
Empowering women, transforming the world.
For 37 years, Lorna Jane has led — not followed. We're the inventor of activewear, a founder‑led brand with a 98% female workforce, and a belief system built on Move. Nourish. Believe. Now we're looking for an Area Manager with fire in the belly to lead 8 stores across Auckland and wider North Island.
This isn't a first step into multi-site leadership — it's the next level. You'll own the results, targets and KPIs across your portfolio, backing your Store Leaders to deliver exceptional customer experiences and standout visual merchandising, while thinking outside the box to drive sales.
Your week has rhythm: an admin day to plan and set your team up for success, then four days on the road — in stores, with your people, where the results are made. You'll partner with your Community Manager to bring events to life that generate real revenue, and you'll keep the fundamentals sharp: shrink, wage percentage, and the people side of the business.
This role reports to the Regional Manager and comes with genuine scope to make it your own — with the flexibility to grow beyond its initial term for the right person.
We're not a brand that leads with discount, and we're not chasing trends. We're a catalyst for positive change in women's lives — in our stores, our communities, and the way we do business. If you're hungry for success, accountable, and ready to challenge the status quo, we want to hear from you.
Apply now and bring your fire in the belly to a brand built on 37 years of conviction.
