Job summary

Sts Peter and Paul School (L Hutt) Wellington is seeking two collaborative, visionary Area Leaders to guide our Pōhutukawa (Years 5–6) and Kōwhai (Years 1–2) teams. In this role, you will lead curriculum planning, support teacher growth, drive student achievement and nurture wellbeing while maintaining an active presence in classroom teaching.

You will work closely with our leadership team to build a strong, inclusive area culture aligned with our Catholic values and school identity.

• Experience leading curriculum planning and instructional teams.
• Ability to support teacher growth and wellbeing across year levels.
• Commitment to Catholic education and values alignment.

Responsibilities

Sts Peter and Paul School is a Catholic primary kura welcoming children from Years 1–8. Our vision is to nurture independent and collaborative learners, who are creative, critical and caring in their thinking, strengthened by their Catholic identity.

We are seeking two collaborative, visionary leaders to guide our Pōhutukawa (Years 5–6) and Kōwhai (Years 1–2) teams.

In this role, you will lead curriculum planning, support teacher growth, drive student achievement, and nurture student wellbeing, while maintaining an active presence in classroom teaching. You will work closely with our leadership team to build a strong, inclusive area culture aligned with our school’s values.

These positions come with professional coaching, 2MU and 0.2 release.
