Job summary

Sts Peter and Paul School (L Hutt) Wellington is seeking two collaborative, visionary Area Leaders to guide our Pōhutukawa (Years 5–6) and Kōwhai (Years 1–2) teams. In this role, you will lead curriculum planning, support teacher growth, drive student achievement and nurture wellbeing while maintaining an active presence in classroom teaching.

You will work closely with our leadership team to build a strong, inclusive area culture aligned with our Catholic values and school identity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading curriculum planning and instructional teams.
• Ability to support teacher growth and wellbeing across year levels.
• Commitment to Catholic education and values alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum planning and assessment across Years 1–8.
• Support teacher growth and professional learning for area teams.
• Drive student achievement and nurture student wellbeing.
• Maintain an active presence in classroom teaching.
