We are looking for an Architectural Graduate to join our Auckland based architectural practice on Auckland’s Northshore. The company has a vibrant, diverse culture that provides a very supportive work environment. Our team works on various types of projects covering residential, commercial, community and industrial projects.
We want a reliable, motivated, determined individual to fill a permanent full-time role. As a recent graduate, you will be required to work with senior members of our team under the supervision of a Registered Architect on a wide range of projects on all stages of the design and construction documentation process. You will be required to use your skills and knowledge to solve problems and provide key input to our projects.
You will work towards being able to work on all aspects of a project, starting a project at the concept stage, preparing preliminary designs, developing the design, preparing a resource consent application, application for services, building application, and detailed documentation and construction documentation, while dealing with consultants, clients, contractors, and local authorities throughout the process.
Applicants must be proficient in Revit with a keen eye on accuracy and clarity in their documentation. We are looking for a proactive, hardworking, punctual, reliable with an honest work ethic while demonstrating proficiency and professionalism. Applicant must have an excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English Language) and good organisational skills with an ability to multitask amidst distractions and work well under pressure. An ability to work in a team & follow instructions accurately is a requirement. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
