Job summary

Maynard Marks is seeking an intermediate Architectural Designer to lead delivery on diverse projects in Christchurch or Auckland. You’ll build on your architectural foundations, delivering concepts, drawings, documentation and client coordination with senior team support.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in practice, ArchiCAD experience, a sound knowledge of the NZ Building Code and a NZ driver license for site visits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in an architectural practice.
• Experience preparing architectural designs and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, drawings, models and presentation materials.
• Prepare accurate technical and consent documentation meeting NZ Building Code.
• Coordinate design updates with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Conduct site visits and help resolve design and delivery issues.
• Support projects through to completion with focus on quality, timeframes and client experience.
