Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited is seeking an Accounts Receivable Controller to take ownership of credit control and receivables across multiple Gallagher entities in Hamilton, NZ. You’ll manage customer accounts, keep collections moving and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

You’ll work closely with NZ and offshore finance teams, improving processes and contributing to better financial performance. A hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to make it your own.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar role.
• Sound accounting and collections knowledge.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience - ideally SAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Confident, professional communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and solve problems.
• A positive, collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in improving how things work.

Responsibilities

• Owning credit control, collections and debtor management across your portfolio.
• Managing customer receipts, reconciliations and account queries.
• Monitoring overdue accounts, credit limits and debt exposure.
• Preparing debtor reporting, cashflow forecasting and insights to support business decision‑making.
• Assessing new customer credit applications and helping manage credit risk across the portfolio.
• Partnering with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
• Supporting Visa reconciliations, journals and other Finance activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency.
