Job summary

Cgr Services in Papakura is seeking an experienced AOD Clinician to join a dual Peer Support and Clinician team on a permanent, part-time basis (24 hours per week, Monday to Friday). The role focuses on holistic, culturally responsive assessment and recovery planning for adults 18+ in community settings.

You will work closely with Peer Support Specialists to deliver person-centred care, build relationships with whānau and services, and contribute to trauma-informed recovery programs in a

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in AOD and/or mental health settings.
• Current DAPAANZ registration preferred.
• First Aid certification including CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive AOD assessments and develop individualised, recovery-focused treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to each person’s needs, strengths and goals.
• Work collaboratively with Peer Support Specialists to deliver person-centred care.
• Build effective relationships with whānau, community organisations and other support services.
• Assess and respond to risk, including developing appropriate safety and relapse-prevention plans.
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely clinical records.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate group education and recovery programmes.
• Contribute to a service that is culturally responsive, trauma-informed and grounded in recovery principles.
