Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist in analytical chemistry to join our Queenstown team. The role focuses on developing and validating analytical methods to support product development and quality control, operating advanced instrumentation, and delivering robust data.

You will work closely with R&D and QA, ensure GLP compliance, interpret complex data, and communicate findings through comprehensive reports.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of analytical method development and validation.
Hands-on experience with multiple analytical techniques and instrumentation.
Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, statistics, and data analysis.
Experience with method validation according to regulatory standards (ICH).

Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for new products and raw materials.
Perform routine and non-routine analyses using advanced instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, and spectroscopy.
Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods to ensure optimal performance.
Interpret analytical data and generate comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and GLP.
Collaborate with R&D and QA teams to address analytical challenges.
