Job summary

Argenta is seeking a Senior Development Chemist in South Auckland to lead complex analytical development projects from concept to regulatory readiness. You will generate high-quality documentation and manage multi-national client relationships, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences and at least 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with analysis, development and validation of analytical methods.
• Ability to generate high-quality technical documentation: validation protocols, method development reports, stability reports, regulatory support documents.

Responsibilities

• Conducting analyses, development and validation of analytical method projects.
• Leading analytical projects from a technical and customer perspective.
• Generating, documenting, and reviewing technical data for clients and regulatory agencies of a high standard.
• Meeting project deadlines and milestones on time.
• Effectively communicate project progress to all stakeholders both internal and external.
• Provide technical training and mentoring to other members of the team.
