This hybrid role, based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, ZA, requires a strategic thinker capable of optimizing the flow of goods from farm to consumer. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the agricultural supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agricultural products, market dynamics, and supply chain best practices. Your role will involve collaborating closely with farmers, processors, transportation providers, and retailers to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness throughout the supply chain. This position demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex logistical challenges. The hybrid nature of this role allows for essential on-site oversight of operations and logistics, complemented by remote work for strategic planning, data analysis, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end agricultural supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to final product delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics, transportation, and warehousing operations.

• Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other supply chain partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, with a significant focus on the agricultural sector.
• Proven experience in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
• Strong understanding of agricultural products, seasonality, and market fluctuations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
