Job summary

Radius Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator in New Plymouth to organise and run person-centred event programmes for residents. You will develop individual activity plans, coordinate with a MDT, and ensure a diverse range of activities within budget and staffing constraints.

Position is 25 hours per week with rotating weekend shifts, based at Radius Thornleigh Park. Applicants must have a current work visa and a clean driving license.

Location: Radius Thornleigh Park, 25 Heta Rd, Highlands Park, New Plymouth

Hours of work: 25 hours per week (9:00am - 2:30pm), including rotating weekend schedule

Pay rate: Subject to completed recognised qualifications

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for this role. Applicants must have a current, open work visa, with at least 6 months until expiry. Applicants must be able to work a rotating weekend schedule.

About the role:

Organize and run person-centred event programmes for our facility’s residents. Work with your team to formulate individual activity plans for each resident. Ensure a variety of creative activities are brought into the facility and made available.

Duties include:

• Supporting residents with social activities, diary planning and personal calendars
• Working with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to formulate individual activity plans for residents
• Liaising with the team to ensure a variety of activities are brought into the facility
• Working within budgeted parameters
