Job summary

Xero is looking for an Affiliates Manager to own and grow its global affiliate channel across the Xero and Melio brands. You’ll manage publisher relationships end to end, shaping campaigns that attract new customers and optimise lifetime value and first-time payers.

You’ll work with Impact and PartnerStack to run a multi-million dollar channel with clear, measurable returns. Based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand in a hybrid setup, you’ll collaborate with product, data science, engineering,

Qualifications

• Hands-on affiliate marketing experience at scale across networks/platforms.
• Experience on Impact or PartnerStack for recruitment, optimisation and reporting.
• Strong tracking, attribution, measurement and incrementality knowledge with engineers/data scientists.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with publishers, partners and stakeholders.
• Experience owning budgets and commercial targets with data-driven insights.
• Curiosity about AI and ability to test and roll out new tools to scale the channel.

The role & impact

As our Affiliates Manager, you'll own the strategy and day-to-day management of Xero's global affiliate channel, across both the Xero and Melio brands. You'll look after publisher relationships end to end and shape campaigns that bring new customers to our websites, optimising them towards lifetime value and first-time payers. Working across Impact and PartnerStack, you'll manage a multi-million dollar channel and be accountable for clear, measurable returns.

This is a rare chance to help build an affiliate channel that sets the standard for SaaS, at a global, publicly listed company. You'll help us move from doing acquisition well to doing it at scale, building tools and workflows (many powered by AI) that make growth repeatable. You'll be the person who can sit down with an engineer or applied scientist to work through tracking, attribution and incrementality, then turn those insights into plans that publishers, partners and stakeholders get behind.

The team & how they connect

You’ll join our affiliates team, part of Xero's wider performance marketing function, working alongside a fellow Affiliates Manager in Sydney who specialises in publisher relationships. The two of you will share ownership of the channel, with your measurement and technical know-how complementing their partner expertise. You'll Make it together with product, data science, engineering, brand and our external affiliate agency to bring every campaign to life.

Where and how you can work

This role can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, near one of our offices. We work in a hybrid way, mixing time with your team in the office with time working from home, and our offices host regular boost days that make catching up in person easy.

• You'll bring hands-on affiliate marketing experience at scale, whether from an affiliate network, platform, agency or the client side.
• Experience running programmes on platforms such as Impact or PartnerStack, from partner recruitment through to optimisation and reporting, is something you bring.
• A strong grasp of tracking, attribution, measurement and incrementality means you enjoy getting into the detail with engineers and data scientists.
• Building trusted relationships comes naturally to you, from publishers and partners to technical and business stakeholders.
• Owning budgets and commercial targets feels familiar, and you can turn data into clear insights that show the value of the channel.
