About the Role
TheChild Development Service within Children's Health Service is amultidisciplinary team funded to provide specialist developmental assessmentand interventions using a holistic approach to enable children withdisabilities to reach their maximum potential within their families andextended environment. The service is made up of 30+health professionalsworking over three different sites. The administration team provideadministration support for the team and service.
About theTeam/Service/ Location
The ChildDevelopment team are a committed team of Allied health professionals.
The teamworks within a transdisciplinary model, using a holistic approach to enablechildren to reach their maximum potential within their families and extendedenvironment.
The teamis comprised of the following disciplines: Speech Language Therapists, VisitingNeurodevelopmental Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists,Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Social Worker, ClinicalPathway Coordinator and ASD Coordinator. We have a small team of support staffto assist the work undertaken.
This rolewill work at Wellington, Te Wao Nui Children's Hospital and Puketiro Porirua
