Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitematā District is seeking an Administration Clerk for the Emergency Department/Assessment and Diagnostic Unit at Waitakere Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 24/7 roster across Monday to Sunday.
The ED/ADU is the gateway into the hospital. You will join a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, delivering compassionate customer service, handling administrative tasks, and supporting patients and whānau.

ED/ADU is the gateway into the hospital and usually the start of a patients experience. If you are someone who likes to be part of a team, work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment, and you are compassionate and caring this role could be for you.
The role offers variety in your work; working across different shifts and in different areas of the Emergency Department as you interact with patients experiencing varying medical conditions and injuries, as well as connecting with their whānau. Compassion and care for our people are key expectations of this role.
Framed by the Waitākere Ranges and boarded by the wild Tasman Sea, Waitākere Hospital is the main hospital in the West Auckland area and is part of the Waitāmatā District Community.
Health New Zealand | Waitāmatā provides health services to approximately 650,000 residents of the North Shore, Waitāmere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any district health area.
While experience in dealing with patients in a health care environment would be preferable, it is not essential as training will be provided.
