Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island invites you to join a hands‑on accounts receivable internship, focusing on Foodstuffs Gift Vouchers. You’ll process requests, validate payments, and support invoicing and voucher activation, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

You will develop skills in data handling, Excel reporting, and finance operations within a large cooperative, with a structured development plan and mentorship throughout the 12‑week program in Mangere, Auckland.

Qualifications

• You’re curious, detail‑focused, and keen to learn how accounts receivable and finance operations work in a large organisation.
• You enjoy working with data and processes, and you’re keen to build experience in finance operations.
• You’re studying towards, or have recently completed, a qualification in Property, Planning, or Law, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day management of Foodstuffs Gift Vouchers, including processing requests, invoicing orders, validating payments, activating vouchers, and coordinating packing and dispatch.
• Respond to and manage customer and internal queries through ticketing systems, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and in line with company policies and procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and support the team to investigate root causes and develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to team initiatives, project work, and cross‑team training opportunities.
