We’re looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building good customer relationships and making sure the numbers stack up.
But we’re also looking for more than someone to simply run the existing process.
Like the rest of Waitomo, our Finance team is actively exploring how AI, automation and smarter use of technology can remove repetitive work, improve accuracy and give our people more time to focus on the work that adds real value. There is plenty of opportunity within credit and accounts receivable, and we want this person to help us find it.
You’ll play an important role in managing our credit and accounts receivable function – from assessing new credit applications and monitoring customer accounts through to collections, reconciliations and resolving payment issues.
You’ll also be encouraged to challenge the way things are currently done, be curious, comfortable with technology and motivated to find a better way.

You’ll be someone who takes ownership and follows things through. You’re confident dealing with customers, comfortable having firm but respectful conversations, and know how to balance good customer relationships with protecting the commercial interests of the business.
Importantly, you’ll also have a continuous improvement mindset. You’re interested in what technology can do, willing to experiment and learn, and comfortable challenging the status quo when you can see a better way.
