Job summary

New Zealand Couriers in Hamilton is seeking a proactive Credit Controller on a 12-month fixed term to manage customer accounts and ensure the debtor ledger stays accurate within agreed payment terms. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will liaise with customers, branches and internal teams to resolve queries, reconcile accounts and keep the cashflow moving in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous credit control, accounts receivable, finance or similar administration experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Proactive, self-motivated approach with a sense of humour.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Credit Controller on a 12 month fixed term to join our regional credit team, based at our Hamilton Branch.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll play an important role in managing customer accounts and ensuring our debtor ledger is accurate and maintained within agreed payment terms. You’ll work closely with customers, branches and internal teams to resolve account queries, reconcile accounts and keep things running smoothly.

Yourkey responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining customer accounts and the debtor ledger
• Following up outstanding accounts and payments
• Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies
• Resolving customer account and billing queries
• Reviewing reports and identifying accounts requiring action
• Liaising with customers, branches and internal departments
