Job summary

Mico New Zealand, a leading plumbing and bathroom supplier, invites applications for an Accounts Payable Clerk at our National Support Office in Christchurch. You’ll help resolve supplier queries, process invoices and support month-end activities with a focus on accuracy and prompt resolution.

This permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) uses JD Edwards and Excel. You’ll build supplier relationships across 60+ branches, contribute to process improvements, and bring at least two

Qualifications

• Two years' Accounts Payable experience
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large data volumes
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve supplier account queries and payment discrepancies
• Track unmatched or unpaid transactions
• Reconcile supplier statements using JD Edwards and Excel
• Process invoices, credits and accounts payable transactions accurately
• Build relationships with suppliers, branches and stakeholders
• Support month-end close and AP team activities
• Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
