We are seeking a motivated Accounts Administrator to join our team in Taupō. This is an opportunity to join an established Finance Team in a role where your work genuinely matters.
You will have responsibility for important parts of the day-to-day financial process, while working alongside experienced finance professionals who can provide support and opportunities to develop your accounting knowledge and capability.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full range of accounts administrator functions across the organisation.
Experienced in transactional processing and reconciliations or a similar finance role.
Accurate, detail-focused and confident with numbers.
Organised and able to manage deadlines.
Confident using Excel, and accounting systems (we use Xero and Figured).
A clear, professional communicator.
Reliable, practical and willing to take ownership.
Comfortable working across teams to resolve issues.
A supportive team player.
An accounting or business qualification is an advantage, but the right skills, attitude and practical experience matter most.
Experience with Xero, electronic banking or an operational business environment would also be beneficial.
Experience working in a multi-entity or complex organisation
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience as an Accounts Administrator with a strong and accurate data entry. A proactive mindset, cultural awareness, and a genuine commitment to people and organisational wellbeing are essential. Experience working within a Māori values-based organisation would be an advantage.
