Job summary

Radius Care is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Support Office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role combines managing AR for allocated care homes with MOH funding reconciliations and payment follow-up, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments.

You will collaborate with care home teams, residents and families, and key health funding agencies to maintain high-quality customer service and data integrity. Fortnightly pay and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related finance role.
• Experience handling complex billing structures and funding arrangements.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally.
• Experience with MOH funding processes or healthcare billing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Hours of work: Fixed Term, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager - Receivables to join our Support Office team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role combines the responsibilities of managing the Accounts Receivable function for an allocated care home while also providing specialist support for Ministry of Health (MOH) funding processes, reconciliations, and payment follow-up activities.

You will work closely with care home teams, residents and families, Health New Zealand, MSD, ACC, and other funding agencies to ensure billing accuracy, timely processing of funding payments, and high-quality customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a receivables professional who enjoys solving complex reconciliation issues, working with large volumes of data, and contributing to positive outcomes for residents and their families.

Key Focus Areas:

• Managing the AR ledger for allocated care homes.
• Act as the primary contact for billing and account enquiries.
• Process resident admissions, funding changes, and account updates.
• Complete billing, reconciliations, and payment processing activities.
• Manage MOH submissions, funding reconciliations, and follow-ups.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve complex account issues.
• Support month-end reporting.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or a related finance role.
• Experience managing complex billing structures, reconciliations, and funding arrangements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems (BC365 experience advantageous).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally.
• A customer-focused and collaborative approach.
• Experience working with aged care funding, MOH processes, or healthcare billing will be highly regarded.
