Job summary
An international engineering firm in Oslo is looking for a skilled Automation/Senior Engineer. The role involves designing automation systems for both Greenfield and Brownfield Oil & Gas projects. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in automation engineering and a strong knowledge of relevant industry standards. Head Energy is looking for a skilled/experienced Automation/Senior Engineer
Job Description:
- Automation design for Study projects for Oil&Gas, both Greenfield and Brownfield
- Automation Lead role in studies when required
- Define, specify and design automation and SAS systems for study phase
- Development of philosophies, topologies, I/O budget and systems descriptions to the required level
- Development of design documents such as C&E's, SCD's and HMI sketches
- Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for automation discipline
- Interface to other disciplines, contractors and client
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 6 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field Oil&Gas or HVDC projects
- Minimum 4 years’ Experience from automation and SAS system, design activities and reviews
- Minimum 4 years' experience from automation engineering in O&G brownfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Experience from automation system design in FEED or study phase projects
- Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC
- Valid EX course
- Valid FSE course
