A leading engineering firm in Norway is seeking a Senior Project Completion Engineer specializing in Fire and Gas systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive commissioning experience in offshore oil and gas projects along with leadership skills. - Lead commissioning activities for Fire and Gas systems.
- Develop and implement F&G commissioning strategies.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure task execution.
- Manage commissioning scope in alignment with performance standards.
- Act as Commissioning Authority during commissioning phases.

Position: Senior Project Completion Engineer – Fire and Gas Systems
Location: Onshore (Stord) with offshore mobilization as needed. Start: 03.11.2025. Application deadline: 03.10.2025. Employment form: Fast.
- Lead commissioning activities for Fire and Gas (F&G) systems.
- Develop, review, and implement F&G commissioning strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Coordinate with various project teams and contractors to ensure readiness and execution of commissioning tasks.
- Manage commissioning scope in alignment with performance standards.
- Act as Commissioning Authority on-site during commissioning phases as needed.
- Participate in the transition and handover of systems to Operations, ensuring safe and efficient start-up.
- Provide input to commissioning schedules, forecasts, and cost estimates.
- Supervise and coordinate dynamic commissioning activities offshore.
- Witness FAT/SAT, ensure correct installation quality, and follow up on site execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education/experience.
- Extensive experience in commissioning, preferably within offshore oil and gas projects.
- Specific experience with Fire and Gas systems and their integration in commissioning processes.
- Strong understanding of completion processes and transition to operations.
- Documented EX competence with valid classroom certification is needed.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High focus on HSE in all project activities.
- Ability to work both onshore and offshore as needed.
