A financial technology company in Oslo is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape their backend platform. You will own the architecture, scale systems, and influence technical direction, ensuring product performance and reliability. Ideal candidates have strong skills in C#, .NET, Azure, and SQL, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams. This role offers ownership from day one and a team-focused environment.
Since their start, Bislab has been challenging and transforming credit scoring and financial risk detection with intuitive decision-making tools in the Nordics. Now, they are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to help shape and scale the next generation of their backend platform.
This role is not just about writing code, it is about owning architecture, scaling systems, and driving technical direction. You will play a central part in building and evolving the core infrastructure behind Bislab’s high-impact products.

You will be a key driver of Bislab’s technical core, working hands on with a modern stack to ensure the platform remains fast, secure, and scalable as it grows.
This is a hands-on role where you will go deep in the codebase, shape architectural decisions, and work closely with the team across product, data science, and leadership.
