This role involves supporting retail managers, leading recruitment efforts, and ensuring operational HR excellence. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of HR experience preferably within retail, communicate fluently in Norwegian and English, and possess a relevant Bachelor's degree. A hybrid working model and generous perks such as employee discounts are offered.
The Estée Lauder Companies is looking for a HR Retail Business Partner.
Are you an HR Generalist who is passionate about supporting the Business, driving results and bringing HR excellence to life? Do you enjoy being close to the Retail Organization and helping Leaders and Employees grow?
If so, you may be the right fit for the role of HR Retail Business Partner at the Estée Lauder Companies.
The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is one of the world’s leading manufacturers, marketers, and sellers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care products. The company’s products are sold in approximately 150 countries and territories under brand names including: Estée Lauder, Aramis, Clinique, Lab Series, Origins, MAC, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Aveda, Jo Malone London, Bumble and bumble, Darphin Paris, TOM FORD BEAUTY, Smashbox, AERIN Beauty, Le Labo, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, GLAMGLOW, KILIAN PARIS, Too Faced, Dr.Jart+, and the DECIEM family of brands, including The Ordinary and NIOD.
Reporting to the Senior HR Retail Manager (based in Denmark), you will partner with our retail managers and employees in Norway, as well as our Travel Retail team across the Nordics, to drive business results through strong people and organizational development.
As part of a collaborative Nordic HR team (based across Denmark, Finland and Sweden), you will work closely with our commercial leaders to deliver HR that strengthen performance, enhance the employee experience, and ensure operational excellence — always with a retail-first mindset.
This role includes regular field visits to our stores to stay close to the business and our people, as well as 2–3 annual trips to the Nordic head office in Copenhagen.
Most workdays will be based in our Norwegian Sales Office in Oslo.
You have 2–3 years of experience in HR or with HR tasks, ideally within retail or a fast-paced commercial environment. You are ready for a role where you over time can develop yourself, take ownership, influence decisions and work independently.
You are structured and detail-oriented, while also proactive and service-minded. You thrive in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple tasks and enjoy both teamwork and independent work. As many colleagues are based in stores, you are comfortable working occasionally in a quieter office environment.
The office is located at Spaces Nydalen in Oslo.
