As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Vertical Market Software (VMS) companies in Norway. This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership, financial oversight, and hands-on coaching.Your role will encompass responsibilities as both a VMS Operator and a VMS Allocator, with a strong and balanced focus on each area. You will report to the General Manager Nordic Region and work in alignment with both TSS and their umbrella company, Constellation Software Inc. (CSI).

You will play a central role in developing TSS’ portfolio through both internal growth and new acquisitions. Your key areas of responsibilities include:

• Coaching eight Business Unit Leaders, helping them become more effective and independent.
• Leading acquisition processes, by sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and integrating new companies - where the M&A team is running the HandsOn process.
• Monitoring and improving performance based on both financial metrics and operational KPIs.
• Supporting leadership in development and building strong management teams in each company.
• Acting as a bridge between TSS strategy and local execution.
• Encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a high-performance culture.
• Report on financial and performance in line with CSI standards.

We are looking for a leader with a strong combination of operational insight, financial discipline and strategic thinking. To succeed in this role, you should have a mix of analytical rigor, leadership experience, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

More specifically, we are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing a portfolio or leading companies within a multi-stakeholder setting.
• A proven success in senior leadership roles.
• A proven track record in executing M&A projects and acquisitions.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and act on key financial indicators.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring leaders to high performance, with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across various levels and functions, across complex organizational structures.
• An academic degree at MSc level, or equivalent academic background.
