Apollo Research is building Watcher, a coding agent security product used across enterprises. We seek a product engineer to own features across the full stack, from agent hooks and ingestion pipelines to monitoring dashboards and enterprise integrations.

You will ship end-to-end features, productionize research, and help design scalable backend systems with strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and secure deployment in cloud or on-prem environments. This IC role offers rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production software.
• Full-stack capability across backend, data pipelines, databases, and frontend UI.
• High agency, ownership and fast decision-making with accountability.
• Experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar tools.
• Startup-speed environment with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Product sense and ability to talk to users to shape the roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship Watcher features across the stack from agent hooks to UI dashboards.
• Own features end to end from requirements to production deployment.
• Build integrations with enterprise security stacks and SIEM-like systems.
• Support flexible deployment models (cloud, on-prem, local backends).
• Ensure reliability, observability, and secure tenant isolation.
