Job summary

Kemira, headquartered in Fredrikstad, Norway, is seeking a Sales Representative for Urban Water to strengthen customer relationships and drive growth in the municipal sector. You will work with a national sales network and support tender preparation, product optimization, and field activities.

The role involves extensive travel across Norway, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on lab trials.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Experience in technical sales within water/wastewater or related industries is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Norway and Scandinavia.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and contact new customers to build strong business relationships.
• Participate in commercial negotiations and prepare quotations and tenders.
• Represent Kemira at market events, seminars, and industry gatherings.
• Collaborate with technical teams on product optimization and testing.
• Conduct laboratory trials and full-scale tests related to tenders and product optimization.
• Take financial responsibility for sales area, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Implement Kemira's strategy in the Norwegian market.
