Seven Investment Management in London is seeking a Training & Competence Manager to lead the practical delivery and ongoing management of the T&C framework, ensuring advisers and regulated roles evidence the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to perform effectively.

The role combines hands-on assessment delivery, record-keeping, MI reporting, and collaboration with Private Wealth, Compliance and external training providers to embed high standards across advice and professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements for investment advice.
• Experience with Training & Competence frameworks and assessments.
• Ability to maintain accurate training records and CPD evidence.
• Understanding of SMCR processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage practical training activity for Advisers and regulated roles.
• Provide timely MI and insights to managers.
• Carry out competence assessments, including role plays and observations.
• Maintain T&C records and CPD evidence.
• Support SMCR certification process.
• Collaborate with compliance, people and external providers.
