Job summary

Head Energy seeks a skilled Senior E&I Engineer to lead electrical & instrumentation work on fixed drilling platforms, contributing to CTR activities and bid support. You will handle electrical field engineering, installation follow-up, and documentation while coordinating with rig crews and project managers.

The role requires a technical degree with 5+ years of offshore experience, strong knowledge of petroleum standards (PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, OLF, DNV, IEC), and a track record in project

Job Description:

• Contribute in CTR-activities/bid, both installation and project related
• Study and project execution within drilling facilities on fixed platforms
• Electrical field engineering
• Work packages
• Installation follow-up, red mark-up documentation, final documentation
• Offshore surveys, installation follow up or yard stay can be actual
• Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work
• Contribute to project(s) and deliver on time and budget assigned work tasks
• Report costs, progress and deviation to technical lead/package engineer or project managers

Qualifications:

• Technical, bachelor's or master's degree within electrical engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years' experience
• Experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Additional electrician certificate is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, OLF, DNV and IEC.
• Experience with modification work at fixed drilling units on NCS
• Preferable experience within some or all of the following areas:
• Power distribution systems with load calculations
• 3.rd party hookup and documentation (Z015N)
• Drilling equipment and systems
• Winterization, heat tracing with power distribution
• Engineering and design of the above mentioned
• Trained for and experienced with EX, Exi and ATEX equipment and regulations
• Experience with project deliveries and key customers' expectations
• Experience with all relevant laws, regulations and standards according above mentioned topics
• Offshore training + heath certificate

Preferable familiar with following programs:

• Febdok
• Client systems like PIMS, SAP, Stid, Stidloop, Procosys, and others
• MS Office software
