Zusammenfassung

Omega 365 Consulting seeks an experienced telecom/automation engineer for offshore assignments in Norway. You will lead detailed telecom design tasks, participate in feasibility studies, prepare and track job packages, and ensure discipline checks on design basis for both offshore and onshore deliveries.

The role requires coordinating with suppliers, performing pre-tests, and conducting as-built actions, with opportunities to train new engineers and expand project expertise across Norway and

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation.
• Alternatively, Technical College degree with extensive Oil & Gas engineering experience.
• At least 5 years offshore project experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems and fiber-optic tech.
• Familiar with ATEX and client systems.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation
• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry

Preferred/Required Work Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes.
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.
