Job summary

Sperton Global AS in Bergen is seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to join an exciting EPCIC project in Bergen, Norway.

The role covers telecommunications engineering across the global design, detailed design, work package development, follow-up, and as-built phases.

The ideal candidate has relevant experience within telecommunications for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, along with knowledge of Equinor technical requirements and NORSOK standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Broad knowledge of Telecommunications deliverables for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Good understanding of Equinor technical requirements and NORSOK standards.
• Experience with network design, including fiber optic networks and cabling, plus installation experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Accurate, organized, and service-minded approach.
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Ability to motivate and support colleagues when required.
• Good understanding of project schedules and activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required Telecom activities during the global design phase.
• Perform Telecom engineering activities during the detailed design phase.
• Create Telecom work packages.
• Follow up on Telecom activities and contribute to as-built documentation.
• Act as Deputy Discipline Lead within Telecom when required.
• Follow project activity schedules and ensure timely delivery of engineering activities.

Requirements
